DRS Monaco F1?
« on: 11 May 2011, 15:49:24 »

Where (if anywhere) will DRS be used at Monaco?

In the tunnel ?  !!!!!! overtaking on the outside in the tunnel!

Run up to St Devote?

It might just make Monaco interesting. :y

Tunnel is really only viable place, though FIA don't like on track overtaking

The tunnel has quite a strong radius on it.  I'm not sure they can afford to lose rear downforce just there.

Didn't watch the last GP, did you? There was more on track (no, not in the pits) overtaking in one race than the last decade I reckon.

good question.....you've got the start/finish "straight" or the run up the hill after the 2nd turn/pit exit bit....bit wiggly for overtaking tho.......but yeah - tunnel's probably a bad idea as you're partially blinded going into and out of it on a sunny day  :o

That might actually make it a very good idea.

How about having DRS available everywhere but just at Monaco? :o :o

Then all the retards were up in arms because overtaking was possible, and that the DRS zone should have been shorter.

How friggin' gay is that.

DRS is deactivated for Monaco, for safety reasons apparently.....
