Roof work......
« on: 11 June 2011, 08:46:56 »

Well I was intending to fix the roof this morning, but realised I cannot source a couple of bits locally. So have had to order from a place in Plymouth :-X, so will need to wait now til that arrives, so will be next week or next weekend now >:(

Should've checked earlier in the week :-[[

Keep meaning to get up on the roof and put a cage on to top of our chimney to stop daft birds dropping down it.

Problem is, whilst 8,000 feet up in an aircraft with no engine is fine by me, 30 feet up on a pitched roof is a different story so it keeps getting put off. ;D

Hmm, I am painting our house at the moment. Been up on the roof this morning cutting in the gable ends and painting the material between tiles and along the ridge. Not my favourite activity.

Used 40kg of paint so far.

Be careful Mike, I hear Londinium is full of dodgy Dundonian roofers. ;D ;D ;D
