Thank you DLK
« on: 22 July 2011, 09:43:42 »

A public thank you to Daz.

I drove 155 miles North for Daz to work his magic on my cambelt, water pump, aux belt and full service.
I was so pleased to switch my engine off in his workshop as the original belt had served me for almost 106,000 miles.
He talked me through what he was doing and I left with a better knowledge of how my car works and sound advice on how to look after it properly.

Now, I brought my overalls to help, but Daz would have none of it ( no extra charge ) and plonked me down in a deep, comfy armchair and introduced me to bacon and cheese oatcakes. Delicious !

After watching Daz eliminate an annoying knock from my poorly fitted exhaust, I parted with a very reasonable amount of cash and headed home very happy after a good day's crack !

Daz, well done and thank you for your spot on directions and generous hospitality.

Cheers Paddy, I enjoyed your company mate, plus the Pink overalls you brought for me :y
If you could find time for a Meet I am sure you would enjoy the banter.
Thanks for the appreciated comments
