Car dealers on ebay.
« on: 06 August 2011, 20:58:24 »

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2004-JAGUAR-X-TYPE-Diesel-Jaguar-X-TYPE-2-0-D-SE-/190562859721?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2c5e6e7ac9
Ok it's a bit up on the price but it's an SE spec with low miles. Point is the ebay description. All the seller does is list the spec as if it were a new car then bang on about themselves...who cares?

If you were thinking about shelling out 6k on a car would'nt you rather read about the car in question? service history, belts/bushes 2 keys etc?

Surely no different to walking into a dealer, though?

All you'd see in the window would be the basic stats and a price (or just a price!), no history etc etc..
