Your right of course, but it would only be due to his former title. Nothing to do with merit.
You could say that about most personalities that are brought in as a face for an organisation.

Im not really pro or anti royal.I dont have very strong fellings on the subject one way or the other. I just think Charles is a prize dickhead.Always has been, always will be.
Whilst I have huge respect for Maj and her hubby (because his goofs are always spot on), I do think there are too many hangers-on.  But, for what they cost the UK, they bring in far more.  Thus, generally, I'm all for it.

do they have any respect for you or people like you??? lol  :-/

Who cares what they think Windsor Castle is a damn good day out  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Having met a few of the royals I can say that yes they do.  When they go to a public engagement they don't just turn up they learn all about the event and have a genuine interest.  If you look objectively at what they do for the country they all put in more than they get back and that is a quantifiable fact.

But then again I am biased so just forget what I wrote as it means nothing.

I've never had the pleasure of meeting them, but I have no reason to suspect they wouldn't.  You think privilege automatically makes them disrespectful?  I think quite the opposite - the recent unrest shows that.
