Geometry - Wheels-InMotion
« on: 07 June 2007, 12:09:15 »

Please be aware, that if you are planning on visiting Wheels-InMotion that they are relocating to Hemel Hempstead (a few miles from their old place in Watford).

I'm sure Tony will be along at some point, but I know he is obviously very busy with the relocation are the creation of the new look WIM, as well as running his own forum, so may be a while.

Thanks TB Just Popped over to STS and they said he had left them.

If You Pop in Tony please give the address of the new place you are working from.

They Said At STS they could do a Full Geo Set Up but I would rather Tony did it

I went to STS a few weeks ago for a full Geometry set up by Tony.  I did, of course, mention OOF!

The site that STS operate from in Watford is subject to a compulsory purchase order by Watford Council, according to a notice that was displayed at the reception area when I was there.

Not sure what is going on round there - probably some big shopping centre or similar.

If you mention you are a member of Omega Owners, then the maximum price is £85 + VAT, regardless of how many angles need adjusting, and regardless of time.  So that is worse case sceanrio.

If only a couple of angles need adjusting, the price will be less, but I would always budget on worse case...

I see Tony (WIM) has relocated to Kipling Motorist Centre in Hemel Hempstead. Been there quite a few times and can honestly say they are really nice peeps there. Very helpful and courteous - almost unheard of in most garages these days. A highly recommended place. :y

As most know i worked for STS but run wheels-inmotion web/forum. Last year an investor tdiplc (Torque Developments International plc) made the offer to make wim a real entity. All i needed to do was find premises. Well a year later i am still looking for a home.

The reason is "time" My work then the web saturated my time so the only way forward is to leave STS and devote 100% to wim.

So that i can still serve wim customers Kipling have made their premises available to me. All the wim promises still exist all that has changed is the destination.

Thank you for your time on this topic
