Been offered an Irmscher backbox for £170 second hand, worth it or not? pretty rare for 3.0 v6 but still a fair wedge.

  All depends on how desperate you are to have one and it's condition for that price but as you say pretty rare :-/.

Seems a little bit expensive - I bought one on ebay about 3 years ago, the Double D type - and it had never been fitted and it was still in the original packaging so it was really as new - I won it for £160.
