Hi steve, a little off topic i know but i'm thinking of doing a run myself with the Omega and caravan to France but been trying get info together as to best price's on the ferry and the best site's to stay at. If you dont mind me asking what price did you pay for both ferry and site :) :)

You didn't ask me  ::) but ...... We used the Chunnel! It was brilliant. 35 mins and you're in French France. I know you're passing other ferry posts on your way east to get to Dover but we both thought the Chunnel was brilliant. As for cost, it was about £50's worth of Club Card vouchers - if used in the store they would have been worth face value, but at various places for various things, days out etc, they can be worth up to 4 times the face value, the Chunnel being one of them. Worth considering IMHO  :y  :y  :y

Select sites are brilliant !!! been using them for 15 years. Well done on the trip and the consumption ....

[smug mode on]but if you were running on LPG you'd have saved a small fortune !!!!  [smug mode off]

but you can't use the chunnel with an LPG car !!! even though the 'van has 2 bottles of the stuff in the front !!

 :) :) :) :)
