Personally I thinkthat if your driving an auto (especially if like me you are in the habit of driving with one hand on the wheel)you arent going to be doing much else with your left hand.

Maybe - but I think the issue with phones is not so much just about whether or not you have a free hand - but moreso the lapse of concentration that occurs when people are wrapped up in a phone call.... and their mind is elsewhere other than on the road?

I thought the whole point of bluetooth was that you could drive and talk without taking your hands of the wheel?
I wouldnr actually know for certain,never used it myself. :-/
