What do you think of Mercedes S-classes, seen one I like, it's an S500 L, so it's a limo model and has a 383 BHP V8 2004 on a '53' plate with good mileage and service history listening to the guy he reckons it's prestine condition too.

Heard anything bad about them and whats you opinions?

i have looked at these, but would have to be the 320 CDi with my miles.

Things that put me off are:

1) Merc Build issues within budget (2000-2005)
2) Too Grey! - Lots of the interiors are really, really grey! and don't really appeal to me.

Prices should be good what with the newer shape out.

Interior is grey on this  They still fetch a fair whack mind you  But this one is a good price and only 50 odd miles form here

S class is always ok for me..

but before buying, a visit to parts shop and asking like an owner for some parts may change the picture

and I must note that these cars and their owners are really respected here..and the reflection to repair prices is mega bucks unfortunately..
