« on: 06 October 2009, 20:13:17 »

Got to pop over to WIM for some new rear boots, get back, drop the barge in for a MOT. Get to the bank cancel a standing order, get to the post office and post my expenses, all by 12!

Should leave the afternoon free to take the bike out  8-)

Well at the time i started the policy i had the Yam, which had a postage stamp size seat, and i could not see myself taking a passenger, plus it was my first policy with the bike so i decided it would not be needed.

With the BMW its much better for a passenger, i might ring up and find out how much it would be. But i don't know anyone else who has bike gear to take out for a run.

What time is this thing? Going to WIM in about an hours time, then comming back to drop it off for MOT.

Could take the bike out then, trouble is never ridden with a pillion  :-[

I miss my bike :(

Been sat in the back of the garage for 18mths now. Not been able to afford the tyres it needs for the MOT.

It shall rise again, but may have to wait until my finances have calmed down.

Yes, I've got an old Matchless G2 needing some TLC to get it back on the road. Funny isn't it, when you have the dosh you don't have the time, and when you have the time, you don't have the money  :'(

Usually ........more stable at high speed in my opinion..........I had an old Kawasaki Z750L3.......that used to weave like a bastard one up......two up no such problems..........Not good for the acceleration though. :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/

riding with pillion something i need to try.

I went out again on it today, got some rear body Armour / back protector.

Was the Dianese one:

Its quite comfy and feels reassuring, makes my sit up straight on the bike. I wear it over the top of a t-shirt.

Guy at the shop said put it on and sit on the bike to see how it was, went out, he said straight away "What a nice bike" He said he did not usually like tourers (he had a Ninja)  but he said he really liked it  8-)
