I think I would seriously consider a DIY conversion but would need clever assistance.......  :-[

I think Marie's tank was about 59 L and that went in witout a false floor. Should be good for 200 miles give or take a few.

Happy to lend a hand if we can convene at the same end of the A1, or offer remote assistance. :y

What difference does the inch raise make to capacity/range?

Will really need to swap info as regards conversion viability, methinks....

A couple of hundred miles I could live with.  Current commute pattern allows me past an Asda with LPG every 100/150 miles or so.....

With the 59L tank Kevin thinks went into Marie's car that's about 47L useable... I currently get 71L useable and get around 300 miles on my normal "Around Town" style, more like 350 on a run so you'd be fine with how often you pass Asda :y :y

I'm also happy to help out either directly or remotely :y :y

Although my place is a little off the beaten track... You could probably get South of London in the same time as getting to mine ::) ::)

Yep. :y Plenty of garage space and spare beds here to get it under cover for the weekend with a couple of OOF'ers if you fancied a trip down.

What difference does the inch raise make to capacity/range?

Will really need to swap info as regards conversion viability, methinks....

That's why I need to check dimensions... I think, and that's only a thought, that it may increase tank size to around the 75L mark ;) ;)

My plan is to raise the floor, re-fit the carpet and get a cage in too as there is talk of us having a hound in the near future :y :y

I'm hoping to get the long awaited Facelift Estate in the next month or so and convert it fairly soon after that, so I'll let you know :y

My 53L vert toroid takes about 43L to fill up, and I am currently getting about 220miles between fills, thats mixed town and motorway running.

I am not convinced its running as good as it can, once I get the proper software a good tune up is in order. How this will affect consumption I don't know.
