This was the other option that I was also considering... Dont want to do it with my own aerosol can :D prefer to get somone to do it who has the right tools and wouldnt stuff the look of the car right up..

Is removing the strips worthwhile? or better just to get them painted over and hope for the best?

But then they don't match up with the front & rear bumper, especially noticable on a light coloured car.
