Thanx for all the replies.

In reply to Ians question, the tyres are Nexen N6000`s and i hope to get them from a company called Rotation UK which has a depot/fitting centre about a mile from me. The price included valve, balancing, tyre disposal, fitting and the dreaded VAT. They may need a days notice to ensure they will have them in stock. Having paid £95 each for two unbranded tyres a month ago thought these were a good price.

I put 4 Nexen CP641 on the tractor. They are a budget tyre, so was not expecting great things, but I thought they were really good, far exceeding my expectations. In VERY, VERY wet weather, they did have the tendency to slide though, but then tractor did deliver all of its chipped horsepower in one big dollop

Had em on the rears. No problems even in snowy weather.

I am getting 4 of these fitted tomorrow:
Nexen 225 55 R 16 CP641 95 V
Got them from netatyre.co.uk for £60.51 fitted per tyre.
I have a 600 mile trip to do on them so will report back after that
