Stainless Steel Exhaust for 3.2 Saloon
« on: 29 July 2010, 15:17:22 »

I started a thread for wanting an exhaust.

The original system was double skinned, the middle sections and back box were double skinned.
That's where the problem now arises, if you then need to replace the system, VX no longer produce the original system, only a single skinned system which is nowhere near as good as the original.
Of the aftermarket single skinned systems, eternalcar proves to be the best.
I would have a double skinned original system over anything else on offer.

Was looking at eternal car and the 3.0 exhaust parts.

Centre silencers are

£25
£31
£151 (as quoted below.) all price approx as they vary

Product Description

Walker is the leading producer of exhaust parts and offers a wide range of exhaust systems for sale. Thanks to the years of experience and modern technology, Walker produces high quality and long life exhaust parts.

    * Newest technology
    * Durability
    * wide range of products
    * Replacement parts
    * Brand new
    * Doublesided aluminiumized steel prevents corrosion

So what makes this part worth 150, does double sided mean double skinned.

All the listing.

So a back box and 2 centre silencers 3 x £25 plus carriage?
Which is possibly £11 + 5 + 5 = £21

No mention of O/S N/S for the centre.

Just like a Merc badge, people will pay big bucks if they think its good!

Had Walker Zorst on the Senator, no different to the Bosal system i had before, apart from this one had the correct 'letter box' style back box.

For a replacement zorst, you have two main options, Etheral, or Staineless  :y
