Can any one give me a guide as to what a the price for a cat is, the price I have been quoted scared me to death. The car is an 03 2.2, any help would be good.

I ordered that one and a local garage fitted it for me for £30 .
Just have to shop around for someone to fit it for you at a resonable price  :y

cats rarely fail, by any chance are you replacing it due to the failed flexi post cat?

You can still have good ones and shite ones.  Pattern ones are pretty much universally shite.
