unusual colour, i have seen a pre-facelift in the same colour.

My thoughts are it looks like its ex-services, maybe one of those fire responce cars? - Seen a few cars in London which are that colour with blues and twos on, but has fire written on it.

Rust on the tail gate, suggests original paint

If you could find some way of catching it, you could put it straight back in. It'd be cleaner than most peoples :y
