We've all done it & we will again :(

At least it was only a slight ding to the bumper :)

yeah felt a tit for doing it though, is it just me or does anyone else have a problem judging the car when parking ect i cannot seem to see where the car ends its so bleeding long ;D i find it very misleading when parking  honestly thought i had easily cleared the front corner when i pulled away until the bin started rocking !

If i'm unsure, i get out & have a look (that is if you can see what you're avoiding).
I reversed into a telegraph pole that was not visible to me, because of the head rest directly behind me. Fortunately i only kissed it & so cracked the paint >:(
That was ages ago now.

since my parking sensors packed up I have had  2 or 3 "very minor incidents" - otherwise when possible I end up parking miles from the obstacle I am reversing towards.

It is a bit of a disgrace really I suppose given the years and years of driving when sensors did not exist.

My other car has sensors all round and a reverse camera!!

I once lifted the whole front end of the Elite when I parked too close to the roller shutters and put them up and they caught the front bumper! :-/

BEAT THAT!!! :-[ parked my miggie at work and when reversed ripped bumper loose >:( Serves me right for lowering miggie :D So after that I parked like a learner-leaving front well away from border stones :)

On my previous miggy, a pre facelift 2.5 GLS I reversed into a car park column and when I pulled forward pulled the rear bumber trim strip and the lower plastic surround out at right angles. I nearly swore!!. Fortunately it clipped back and all I needed was a new trim strip and a bit of spray and Tcut. As someone else said earler we have all done it and felt sick as a parrot about it afterwards. Hope it all repairs OK.

I once crashed into a tank when very foolishly (bloody hilarious though) doing donuts in the sand throwing sand up in my mates face in a 3.5 v6 pathfinder.

I got the thing wedged under the v bit, then had to panel beat it from the inside with a baton to get a dent in the wing out! Those were the days!
