Greens are good for cold braking. However with the Omega these could fade if you take it for a hoon.

Yellows are a fast road pad. The old compound used to require warming up before it would work properly. The new compound will bite hard from cold and just keep biting even when given a beating. The only downside is they leave lots of dust.

Not really used the others, blue is for track and never used reds. These will need bedding in properly though!

Just fitted EBC Green Stuff pads all round to our TD.

The car's got new genuine Vx discs, and the performance is now excellent, with much less dust.
Although a tad expensive, they're well worth it, believe me, and cope brilliantly with all driving conditions.:y

As an aside, all our vehicles are now running on EBC Green Stuff pads. :y

I've got them on my Manta , green all round .
They're very good in all conditions from cold and leave significantlly less dust on the wheels .

Hmm never had a set of EBC discs that lasted more than 4k without warping, however that was on my carlton24v which always got driven very very hard!! so hopefully they have improved since then!!! I went back to Delph discs after that and never had a problem even on track days

Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

First time I had to change when I got my Miggy was to EBC discs and Red stuff pads. Recommended and done by Hi Tech at Dartford.

That set-up was total S***e and a complete waste of money and felt no different from the old (worn) pads/discs I'd had replaced (yes I know that Red stuff has to warm up to bite (they've improved this according to their website)). >:( :( >:( :(

A lot of folk here swear by genuine Vx and seem more than happy with them. :y :y

I'm on Courtenay discs and Ferodo pads. I'm more than happy with this set up too. :y :y :) :)

EBC - give 'em a wide berth.
