Wrong forum I know but help needed...

A friend of mine has a 2001 BMW 325i that has started to stall at lights , junctions etc.. any ideas on this would be greatfull as the bloke is sitting with me now??

Well, if it was an omega I would suggest Idle control valve needs cleaning, or crank sensor is dying. Dont know how applicable that is to the beemer though. :-/

Has he had any work done on car recently - how long has it been doing it? Look very carefully at air intake boots for improper fitting or splits

No work done recently he says but it doesn't struggle at the lights and roundabouts all the time just every now and then..

Take it for a diagnostic. It'll tell him straight off what the problem is.  :y
