Hi a mate has just bought a 307 1.6 hdi
when he is driving it is sounding like a bag of spanner(or as he puts it a top end rattle) does anyone have any idea what could be causing this. As he has been told to strip it down and check it.

i wouldnt bother..i have a 308 1.6 diesel that sounds a bit like that BUT according to my local stealer dealer that is the norm???.....crap cars and i am just glad i don't own it i just drive it  :y
