replacement for mig.....
« on: 14 August 2011, 07:01:20 »

Well time has come after 9 years of trouble free motoring that the mig is going ,must admit I m gonna miss the old girl ,hopefully the replacement will be just as good http://www.skoda.net.r66.co.uk/zoom.aspx?Id=601485739&CentreName=SHERLODGE+GARAGE&CentreTel=01634+377444. I was thinking about putting me mig up for sale on here but with being away all week in me truck ,ended up thinking maybe it wouldn't be worth the hassle so they took it in PX

Nice. Far better shape than the saloon. Yuk.

Bit of a slope on the rear boot space though.  :-/ if boot space is important...

There are some very good looking Estates about, which I noticed long before Claeckson mentioned it on Top Gear by the way.  :)

Honda Accord ESP. Passat. Etc

Had a quick drive of a mates BMW 520d last night. Long story, but completely unplanned and it was only a short drive through town. I didn't adjust the driving position properly so can't really comment on comfort but I was impressed with the torque and the smoothness of the box.

Mind you, don't think I could bring myself to drive one :-X :-X ;D ;D

For me, the serious replacement will be (when funds allow)

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201132409427792/sort/priceasc/usedcars/maximum-mileage/up_to_80000_miles/engine-size-cars/3l_to_3-9l/fuel-type/diesel/model/a8/make/audi/page/1/postcode/tw89de/radius/1501?logcode=p

i had the pleasure of a short test drive in one when my last company was testing them but i think it was a 4.2 diesel..wow don't they fly...waste of time really as the company went and bought e and s class mercs anyway

Not driven one, but got an Audi dealer down the road from the office. Nice place to sit, has a nice big centre console arm rest like my 2.2.

4x4 drive, goes well, good mpg.... quite like them
