Not Trade Card price cheap..... but.
« on: 27 September 2011, 18:21:24 »

Bought and fitted a new hose to the car today..... that was starting to split. £10 from Vx. Not a bad price as Ebay wanted £4.99 plus £1.99 postage for  a USED replacement.

My local Vx dealer will not accept trade/ABS card......but after a chat the parts manager they are willing to sell me 5 litres of GM semi synth for £20 inc VAT ( retail £35.60 so they tell me)..... a saving of about 45 %.

Like I say, not such good value as TC......but not too bad if parts are needed quickly.... :y :y

Does your dealer not accept the ABS Trade club card because they are not part of the TC scheme, r do they just not like the look of your ABS TC card? If the latter, contact Dave Wad of the ABS & he'll be able to sort your dealer out.  ;)
4 lots of 5 litres is something like £40 ie buy 3 get the 4th free

I initially believed that all Vauxhall dealers were obliged to accept TC/ABS card.  I now know better. :-\
