Even better is a drive down the A640 through the pennines! It connects to the A672 actually in denshaw! Really twisty raod with great views though!

I've just found it. That's actually the road I was thinking of. The long long straight bit, I've actually left the saddle of the bike! Fantastic road. A640
That's the road that some numpty in a go-faster Golf managed to break the brand new screen of my Senator by going off the edge of the tarmac while overtaking!  :-?  :-?  >:(

That car park there is a lovely place to park during the day with great views of the reservoir below and manchester road out of marsden, and a strange mound on the hill opposite that me and a friend are sure is some kind of stone age village! Also the breather chimneys out of the railway tunnel and the mysterious on which is completely out of line with the other ones!

Bit spooky there at night, even more spooky when there is dogging going on around you!  [smiley=shocked.gif]

I'm really really upset that poor geoffrey has gone to car heaven.

The only good I get out of it was that he was an organ donor, and has saved the lives and cosmetics of many other miggys!  :'(

He got written off earlier this year!

Deviator bought it off me and broke it up, because although healthy under the bonnet he was too knackered!

So now i'm back after 6 months driving a punto (which is complete dogsh*t) trying to get another miggy, and i won't be happy until i get one!
