Did a bit of headlight polishing this afternoon
« on: 13 June 2011, 20:23:58 »

I've only done the drivers side tonight, but it started off something like this;

Then after some 1500 then 2500 wet and dry paper with plenty of soapy water it looked like this;

Then I had a good go with the cutting paste;

And it came up something like this  :)

I will still cut it back further but with some t-cut and it should be perfect then. One down and one to go  :D

I'm pleased with the initial result  :)

It costs next to nothing and makes quite a difference so worth doing in my opinion. I'm picking up some facelift door mouldings and sill covers in Z157 star silver on friday can't wait  :D

1.5 hrs - nowt really, I read the guide on this and envisaged a day of sweating and sore fingers. Mine are ok but it's good to know these things just in case.  :y

I did my just over a week ago. I read and was advised on several ways to do it, so I took the easiest route first....

T-Cut!

Cloth, T-Cut and a duster, 10-15mins each and bingo, looking like new, well impressed.

I can actually see where I'm driving at night now and not guessing, lol  ;D ;D ;D
