Sorry to drag this subject back up, but do the boot badges show the part numbers on the EPC software? Im looking for pre-facelift/mini facelift 'omega_3.0_mv6' boot badge. Now for the fun bit.... walked into vaux stealers 2 weeks or so ago, and ordered the pre-facelift 'mv6' boot badges "thats no problem sir, they will take around a week to arrive as they are special order" fine no worries says I, 2 weeks later, call from vaux saying the badges are there....... I nip down there only to find the badges say 'omega 3.0 v6'  
 To get to the point, they said to me that there were never any boot badges made saying omega 3.0 mv6 but i've seen a few with my own eyes, and they werent the facelift style ones....... needless to say I told em where to shove their badges and I wasnt paying for them and walked out, but a glimps over my shoulder near the exit, I am 99% sure they threw the bade into the waste bin near their desk, I almost got the nerve up to ask if I could have them if they were gonna throw em   but im a chicken and carried on walking  :-/
 So, if anyone can help me, I need the part number for "Omega_3.0_MV6" boot badge - Thanks John

Think you will find they never made one saying Omega 3.0 MV6

Its more likely the ones you have seen are 'home made'

I thought the trim level (cd, gls etc) only appeared on the side , with just the engine size on the boot.

I guess you could get the mv6 bit for the side and stick it on the boot if you really wanted to.

that MV6 badge on the back doesnt look like vauxhall standard, is it aftermarket lettering or did you stick an M next to the V6??

Only ever said Omega 3.0 V6, the piccy above looks like badge from side of facelift

I am sure that my pre facelift says Omega_MV6 never seen one with Omega_3.0_MV6 though?

You should have gone back after they'd closed and had a rummage through the bin

Halfords do some chrome letters of a similar size to those on the V6 at the back.

Nope its the standard badge the facelift MV6 doors, bought it ages ago off 'the bay' even came in the cardboard with the GM part number on it, and before anyone asks no i dont still have the part number.

Not all pre-facelift models have the spec in the door trim, mine doesnt even have the recess to stick the little black plate in with the variant on, and yes it is a genuine MV6 not an ex police pretend one

I could have been mistaken about the badge having the 3.0 bit between the omega and mv6 on the passing cars i've seen, but im certain that i've seen genuine looking badges saying the whole lot  :-/ On my boot, if you look very very closely, you can see where badges used to be, saying omega_3.0_mv6  I dare not go back into my local stealers after I had a go at em, so I suppose the stealth look will be staying for a while. I keep checking fleabay for the whole boot lid off an mv6 but the badges are nearly always removed unles its a 2L  
 Mind you, the way the car is eating the lining out of my wallet, it'll be lucky to see the end of this month in one piece

Just been out to drag the kids scooters out of my boot, had another look at the remains of the old badge and it says "omega_mv6"   I've been convinced I saw a 3.0 in there but probably an illusion from seeing a 3.0 in somebody elses..... so im sorted for what it should be saying, just need a part number  
 Sorry if i've misled or confused... im a total tit, I should have read it properly
