as a 'spares or repair' car it's probably not worth much. This is an estate, which could be considered as desirable as the 3 pedals in your car.  :-/

....

I'm not sure what tools I need for doing the cam cover gaskets.... :-/ :-/

No special/fancy tools reqired, just a selection of Torx sockets.  :y :y

But as Rob says, pattern gaskets don't last, and as expensive as Vauxhall's are, you only need do the job once. Instant gasket doesn't last either ....  ::) ::) and then it's a bast'd to remove.  :(

How much are Vx gaskets?

i'd strongly recommend genuine, especially if you end up selling it to a forum member, if you fit non-genuine you may as well not do them at all given the forum popularity of pattern gaskets

if you do plan on selling it as it is, and listing publically DO NOT use the term "spares or repair" as it implies its practically on its last legs or needs millions to put right, just list it with the bad points like you have

I might have guessed a 'trader' bought it at that price.  ;) ;) ;) ;) Have you diagnosed all its failings yet. Am I right with HBV, cam cover seals & lamdba sensors?  ::) ::) ::)
