WANTED:- Estate rear doors (rust free??) MFL
« on: 14 July 2010, 16:53:35 »

Has anybody got, or is anybody breaking a FOREST GREEN estate with really good rear doors that have no rust??
Mine is a '99 Minifacelift and has terminal rust on the bottom corners where the back wheel starts, apart from that, the car is immaculate.

Rocking Horse Poo???

Not seen many in this colour, Rob. Broomie has a saloon in Forest Green, not seen an estate yet, and I travel the country extensively.

Reckon I'm gonna struggle, might have to spray a couple.......

Pretty lucky, then. all mine has is the rear doors, nothing on the estate hatch, and nothing on wings or body panels.
Why oh why does it rust on the rear doors so badly? Design flaw?

What's the colour code for forest green, I'll check the ones on the estate I am breaking up, but not sure of the colour other than it's green. The code will help.

Counts mine out on two points, wrong colour  ::) and the doors are so crusty that they get lighter every time i slam them, but it was worth a look, so I guess that adds to the weigh in value...
