The ZT 2.5 V6 isn't too bad a car tbh. Quick, little torque steer, decent top end, reasonable torque.  Downsides, traction from standing start, stupid cambelts (yes, it has 2) arrangement, and the usual K series (it has KV6) HG problem.

Oh, and for many, just because its a 'Rover' (actually its MG) - but these people are narrow minded in the same way junior reps will only consider BMW 318 crap.

2.0 were not that slow, bit slow off the line but will still go quite fast.

I have seen the predecessor model (a Carlton 2.0) red line in top gear, that is with less power
