20mpg around town may just about be achievable.  I'm heavy footed, and would expect around 17 from my 3.0l auto MV6

Cheers for the welcome everyone

Providing the mpg will be around the high teens in town then it should be doable (just)!

Ive found a 3.0 auto elite, with 70k on the clock. It has mv6 alloys + sport leather seats fitted. Its described as perfect too.

Its £1799, does this seem about right?

Not really up on the prices for Elites. But I have recently bought an S reg manual MV6 with 55,000 on the clock and fsh.It also has the black sports leather.  The car is in really nice condition and I paid £1500 for it so I reckon £1800 is not that far off the mark.

:)Reckon you "stole" that! 55k, man, leather? £1500 well spent! :y

I know just couldn't believe my luck when he said he wanted £1500 for it.And he had just forked out on a full service too.I did an HPi check and everything is fine..Happy Days  ;)
