I remember most of these but the thing i do remember as a kid was going out to play all day without fear of pedos, weirdos and nutcases's. when life did not revolve around the T.V P.C or games consoles, when we used to knock up a soapbox with some old pram wheels and a bit of wood we found at the back of dads shed, when breaking the law was going scrumping and having a fag after school, when being told off by our elders ment we felt humble and nowing we had overstepped the mark, not telling them to f#*k off..........................................oh those were the days.  :(

Making a 'skateboard' (before we knew of such things) out of last years Victor or Eagle annual and the one metal rollerskate left in the back garden....

Then sitting on the fri**in thing, getting a push start from your bestest pal, down the steepest pavement you could find trying to steer by putting your weight onto each bum cheek in turn....   ;D

Aye, and extending the front forks with a couple of lengths of whatever steel conduit you could rob find near your local building site, hammered onto the existing forks.  No bolts, just hammered on....  Who needs front brakes....   :D
