Any chance I could borrow someone's locking kit?
« on: 30 August 2007, 11:30:54 »

As per title really.

I borrowed one from autovaux and the missus sent it back before I had finished with it - her deposit...  >:(
Car is running very advanced coughing and spluttering, oh, and I'm getting 17miles to £20!!!!!

I will also need a 27mm spanner for the tensioners.

I will travel up to 50miles (with luck) and do the work near by you and will prob take 1-2hrs at the most - I hope!

Won't be able to supply any beer tokens until mid next week as I've just put another £50 in the car (£120 this week!  :o)

Any help would be much appreciated  :y

the 30mm needs to be offset doesn't it?   Is a regular offset spanner ok or does it need to be something special - extra deep offset..?

Is Wakefield suitable? If so, I can help with the locking kit and space to do it, if we can sort a suitable date time out. I cannot help with the 30mm spanner though.
I'll PM you.

Cheers Pat
