I haven't got round to cleaning the throttle or breathers yet, but have now noticed that if when I start the car and it is misbehaving as described, turning the engine off. Then re-starting seems to always clear the problem!

I would have a look to see if its got any codes stored, you'll need a code reader tho' , paperclip method wont work on yours.
Only code stored is P0650 - MIL light error. Doubt that is cause of the awful idle when cold. It hestitates and idles uneven.

OK, saw car again tonight. Codes since last time I saw it are
P0650 (makes sense, the emissions bulb aint working)
Misfires on Cyl 2, 4, 6 and random multiple misfires (so passenger side bank)
Fuel trim (both sides)

It seems really hesitant and misfires at idle and picking up to 1000 rpm.

I had Tech2 on live data, was showing throttle pedal position varying from 0 to 100%, but throttle position sensor not moving...

Quickly squirted a little carb cleaner in butterflies, seemed a little better, but it was cold, dark, and Rock needed to be somewhere else, so couldn't do a proper job.

Suggested that he cleans throttle out fully, along with breathers.  Just hoping that the coil pack passenger side hasn't failed...
