Clogged washer bottle
« on: 15 December 2006, 10:25:46 »

Hi everybody

I;m Mike, a newbie

I have a 1996 V6 Omega and recently the washer wiper pipes has obviously become
clogged.I believe on the inlet side to the pump. The pump is operating.I have few mechanical skills but would be grateful for any advice of getting access to clear the pipes and whether it is a simple job, or not to access the bottle.

Thanyou in anticipation

Mike

Hi

I had the same problem with the washer bottle on my Omega!

If you gently pull out the washer pump, you will see that it sits in what appears to be a rubber washer! this washer pulls out and is actually a filter, this is where it normally blocks up - just rinse with clean water and flush tank out whilst pump is removed.
