Silly Question
« on: 13 April 2007, 10:38:22 »

Where does the Crank Sensor plug in to the main loom on a 3.0 V6? I have tried to trace the wire, but it disappear in to an inaccessable area behind the engine.

Also, what's your advice on fitting a second-hand, but known to be working, Crank Sensor?

Paul.

It's at the back of the plenum, NS.  Easiest to take the scuttle off when you replace it, but you can reach it without taking anything off.

I wouldn't fit second hand unless it was still pretty new and had a known history.....particularly given how much some sellers charge for second hand sensors!
