2.0 cam cover stuck fast?
« on: 09 May 2007, 20:38:32 »

Ok, since it appears that my other problem is sorted, got a new sensor, my cam cover is stuck down fast.
Any tips on getting the damn thing off?  :-?

All the bolts undone?

Gntly rpise from one corner with a large flat blade screw driver......apply a reasonable pressure for a period of time....it normaly then gives way.

;D Thanks mate!  I know my level of mechanical expertise is very limited, but I did undo all the bolts..... ;D

I'll try the large screwdriver thing, beats the large hammer thing anyway.
