How much do you think my Omega's worth
« on: 19 September 2007, 15:26:00 »

I'm thinking of selling my Omega, and I was just wondering what you lot thought its worth as it is.

Its a 2ltr Omega GLS (Ecotec engine) R-reg done 120,000 miles, its got some small rust bits on the doors and a small scrape on a rear quater panel, its got full leather interior with heated front seats, Its MOT'd and taxed till Nov 2007

Pic's are here

Short MOT, GLS, 2.0l, 120k will all count against it, though in some ways, the 2.0l will help in this territory due to people thinking it will be more economical.

The bodywork will count against it as well.  I would say in the £750 - £1000 region, maybe more on autotrader ;)

Have a look on AT and see what they go for in your area.  The leather may not help value but may help make yours more attractive to certain buyers.

I wouldnt put it quite this high and reckon more £600 - £700 max.

Thats obviously paper or autotrader sale. significantly less on ebay.

Sorry it may not be what you weant to hear..Bearing in mind my opinion may differ due to Geographical location and skew in market values up here...

£750-£1000 would be great, £600-£700 is still good as I only paid £500 for it.

Would it be woth anymore if I put a 12 MOT on it and possible 6 months tax
