Bonnet Release!
« on: 15 May 2007, 14:25:56 »

Is it possible to adjust the bonnet release?
When pulling the lever, it takes someone pushing down on the bonnet to release properly..

Yep...remove the small plastic trim cover in front of the battery....here you will see a small clamp with a 10mm bolt on it....slacken the bolt and pull the cable through the clamp until you can just see the bonnet release catch in the slam panel hole move slightly, back it off a touch (for safety) then tighten the clamp....

Also worth winding in the rubber stops on the front corners of the bonnet half a turn....
