Rear Blind wiring help!
« on: 17 May 2007, 15:03:58 »

hi,i have just fitted a rear electric blind, how ever i cant find a switch anywhere for the facelift. i have a pre facelift switch, but its different and wont fit into the center consol. does anyone have a switch or know the wiring commands for the blind,i could buy a flasher switch and engineer it to work myself.
i've posted in the wanted section but looks like no one has a spare switch.
did they make a blind for the facelift?

Thanks

Carl

Yes they did fit it to the facelift....the switch goes bottom left of the display.....

Your only option might be to buy a new one!

No quick contact will cause the blind to operate fully. A subsequent push will cause blind to return.

New switch about £11 IIRC...

Hiya Carl
I am looking to purchase a rear sun blind for my facelift model, did the parcel shelf from the pre facelift fit ok??
In the boot on my miggy under the parcel shelf is a wiring loom with a plug on the end, they are not speaker wires, is this the supply for the blind, glad I have found someone who has done the same as I could not get any info on fitting, hope you can help. ref the switch, DTM Calib is right, I also tried to get hold of one, only option is a new one unless you can find a facelift being broken, then it would need to be one fitted with a blind.

Pete :y
