Climate Wiring
« on: 27 May 2007, 18:20:55 »

I cannot see how to remove the mass of wiring from behind the climate panel.  The connectors do not look like they can pull off but possibly slide up or down.  Haynes talks about sliding something to the side first....?

Can someone help please?  Do I need to remove all the push switches - I don't see any mention of that in BoL or in the guides on here, all of which make it sound trivial - I'm clearly having a dense day :(

Cheers!

I now found The Boys guide where it does mention removing the switches so I've tried that and the connectors on the back do seem to slide down.

On question though - is there something special with the hazard switch?  The black cap came off that so I'm left looking at the bit with the bulb in still in the panel.  Will this come out with a bit of levering?  Going dark now (not to mention pissing down like it has all day) so job for the morning.
