CDC code
« on: 28 May 2007, 18:25:43 »

Hi Guys

can anyone tell me if i order a new carpass will it have the code for the cd changer on it ?

I had to disconnect the battery because of an alarm fault and when reconnected, the radio/tape/phone all work fine but the cdc says it is safe.

Do I get this from my vauxhall main dealer?

thanks

The dealer can get the code for you.

Take the CD out of its cradle and check for any writing on the labels or a sticker...its not unknown for the code to have been written on the unit when on a sales forcourt etc.

Yep - my local one got me the code by phone and passed it to me straight away, then followed it up with the card.  Just a shame they got the wrong code (typed it in wrong at the other end) and used up one of my tries!
