Last year, cost me £240 a year.

This year, It's cost me £39 - still top cover.

Isn't money supermarket good?  ;D  :y

That's a good saving, And more money in your pocket James :)

Don't you mean your pocket? ;D  ::)

Nah not mine, I don't take your money, I have my own, I'm the one who treats you ;D ;D ;D

But...but.... what about that new kitchen you asked me for... and the decorating... carpets.... extension.... racehorse.....

Me asked you for a new kitchen, The decorating to be done, I would love both done but as you know i

Live in a private rented house, so i cant have them, And for the racehorse, Well would love a horse but

you don't have that kind of money to buy me one, but i can only dream ;D :D

fair enough, I will buy a clutch instead, then ;D

That will be  money well spent, And you need a new clutch ;)

Maria the mechanic now, are we?

I think I'll go through a few things with The knowing one, before coming to that conclusion ;)

No i am no mechanic, but i watch and learn of you when you do your cars, i do know when a clutch is on its way out by the gears not going in :P

Strangely, when I drove it, the gearbox seemed fine.  But then I mostly only used the first 3 ::)

The gearbox is fine.

It struggles with engaging gears from a standing start, usually when it's been stood for a while.

Once the clutch has had some use it's ok - hence probably why you found it ok (I'd just come 50 miles to you...)

I'm beginning to think it's just a stickly friction plate.

Dead easy job from what I can gather...
