Geometry setup
« on: 01 July 2007, 21:15:59 »

How many of you have had your geometry setup done by Tony at Wheels in motion?
and how have you found the car afterwards and also I hear he does a free recheck/ fine tune after 2,000 miles ; what does he do exactly regarding fine tune is it just rechecking all is still as was set?
Cheers guys

Yes, I have. Handling was transformed (though I had a geometry issue before it went in, eating inside edge of tyres), and tyre wear was even.

Fine check is just a rejig to ensure it is right for your car, using tyre wear as a guide (uneven wear points to a problem)

Ok thanks mate; I 've got inside wear but only on off-side front, so I'm thinking possible camber issue on that side in particular,  would suspect tracking more if it was on both sides I think, anyway, popping down to him in a couple of weeks so hopefully he'll get me sorted on that.
