help on omega 2.5 v6  r reg

     please i am in need of some help concerning omega 2.5 v6
      i have just had a full service to see if this would solve the following problem done,
     the engine is idleing at 500rpm and when you start to go it is if the engine is firing on 5 plugs or that it needed new leads also had new gasket put on head due to oil going into spark plugs holes.  garage cannot find the problem so any help please

Leads could be culprit, esp the one that has been baked in oil...  ...failing that, plugs or DIS.

I am assuming EML isn'y on...

I also assume it was the Cam cover gasget and NOT the head gasket they changed? Otherwise yo may still have the oil leak, as it will undoubtedly be the cam cover gasket that failed.

Cam cover gaskets will be replaced if you do HG...

...how else will you undo head bolts?

Good point....... and very well made  ;)
What I was also trying to say, but not very well, was did they change the HG in error. But as you say, either way the cam gasket should now be Ok.
