P0705 auto gearbox fault code
« on: 06 August 2007, 20:08:18 »

:) hello there, just had my local vaux dealer out with there tech 2 to code a new key, i asked them to check to see if a auto box software update was availible for my 2.2 2001 cdx, it seems a bit jerky and  reved sometimes to 4000 rpm in first before shifting, he said it had a fault code p0705 code which he cleared, it does seem better now, but still not as smooth as my 98 2.5 cdx.. any ideas any one ? thanks max.

That fault code means knackered selector switch.

2 ways to smoothen box, need to do both. Change atf and filter, and put on v9 or later software.

Marks_DTM (Notts) and I (Northants) can both both software...
