None of the MOT's I've ever witnessed have checked the mirrors for adjustment, so as I long as it's currently set up ok i guess you'll be alright.

If they do pick it up my feeling is it'll only be an advisory. :y

Like already said never seen an MOT tester check that electric mirrors are working at all, they may say something if the mirror lense was smashed.

Check this out. Relates to rear view and door mirror. Taken from updated MOT website  :y

a. missing or insecure

b. so damaged or deteriorated that the view to the rear is seriously impaired

c. does not provide a view to the rear of the vehicle

d. not clearly visible from the drivers seat, or incapable of being adjusted to be clearly visible from the drivers seat

They can generally be adjusted manually, so if the mirror isn't broken or dulled, it will be fine

I'm a mot tester and it makes no difference if the switch is broken as long as the mirror is there and ok

Thanks guys, that's put my mind at rest for now.  MOT due in 4 weeks and can do without small 'pain in the a**' issues before hand.

I think the only failure i did have was a rotten back box and centre boxes, which now been replaced with GM parts.  now she's running saweet!  :)

Cheers
