rear suspension wont go down ?

any ideas ? i got my elite through mot the other day and since it was on the ramp with the wheels suspended the rear suspension has went up and hasnt went down ? i rang my local dealer and spoke to the head tech and he didnt know hpw to resolve the problem and he told me that i would need to connect the tech1 which they dont have,i have given up on them cause as soon as i mention omega elite the turn grey ? ::)

Check the level sensor hasn't come adrift...

Ball and socket may have been seized, and when they jacked up the car on the body, so that the suspension was at full travel you may find it has either snapped or come apart :(

iirc, the self levelling is osr arm?

just to the right of the diff.

The old analogue ones are prone to water getting into the pot, try disconnecting the rod and moving the pot over its full range, suspension should follow. Be careful with the plastic ball joints, they are brittle.
You can also release the pressure by removing the pipe from one shock absorber, this should lower the rear end and give you time to find out whats wrong.
At least you know that the compressor works ;)

ive checked the arm and its still there and all is still intact, im going to pull one of the pipes off a shock and see if that will do it

You're right. I was thinking HID level control because I've just been sent a pair of switches.
