Looks like one of my  rear coil springs  has bust, are the Elite 99 rear coil springs different from standard.
If so where is the best place to get them?

All prefacelift springs (inc MV6) saloon springs are the same. Most factors sell them. Replace in pairs.

I have got the use of a four point ramp to put my car on. Do you still need to remove the bolts which secure thr rear of the sub frame to the floor pan?

Being able to stand under the car made it much better, compressed the new springs to get them them in and the non-broken one out.
