Coolant leak
« on: 31 October 2007, 20:30:11 »

I reckon i know the answer i am just after a bit of confirmation.
As stated in an earlier post i had a rather large coolant leak, refilled coolant bottle etc and went on a decent run 70 miles with no climate on, checked for leaks after journey and no indication of any would this suggest the HBV is nacked??? Or could this be a hose coming from this I only fitted HBV five months ago will this be covered by warranty.

Sounds like HBV to me. It could be a leaky pipe if the clip is not tight enough, may be worth checking first. good look  :-/

Seems to be a few posts about leaks lately must be the weather ;D

When there are leaks as a rule first place people seem to look is at the HBV, apparently there have been a number of them that have been faulty. Should imagine if there is a leak there would be a water mark on a hose.
