« on: 03 November 2007, 13:19:52 »

Urgent help needed.
Just went to start changing the front wishbones and found pages 10-1 and 10-2 missing from Haynes manual ( Bought off E bay some time ago ) .
Need the settings for both lower wishbone bolts ,pinch bolt for lower ball joint and knuckle to strut bolts. Also caliper to knuckle bolts.
I'll gert on and change the wishbone and with a little luck by the time no. one is done one of you guys will be able to come back to me.
Thanks in advance .

Both lower wishbone bolts are 120nm then angle tighten through 30 then 15 degrees

Pinch bolt is 100 nm

Knuckle to strut bolts are 90nm then angle tighten 45 then 15 degrees

Caliper bolts are 95nm then angle tighten to 30 then 45 degrees

Thanks Razzo, job done. :y

An absolute pig of a job 7 hours to do both sides , all the how to's say 1 hour a side !
I am fortunate in having a double garage and all the tools required but getting that rear bolt and bush aligned was not an easy task and took forever.  >:(
